Crowley’s Granite Concepts was founded on October 15, 1998. 

Our first shop was located on Burnham Rd in Tigard and while it was only 850 s/f, it seemed huge at the time.   In reality, it was quite small, and its “smallness” turned out to be a blessing in disguise because the cramped quarters forced us to develop a process for a short turn around time. 

To this very day, that process of providing a short turn around time from template to install, is the hallmark of our company and our primary competitive advantage.

And while processes are key, the principles a company lives by are even more important…

A number of years ago, during the final Q.C. of a kitchen we were about to install, our shop foreman realized that the colors of two pieces that joined into each other didn’t match.  We had inadvertantly purchased two slabs from different bundles and the Portland supplier didn’t have any more in stock.

They did have slabs in the Seattle wharehouse but they said it would be a few days before they could ship them down.  Waiting would have delayed the job for our customer, so we drove to Seattle to pick them up so we could finish the job on time.

That principle, the willingness to do what ever it takes to keep our committments, is what has made us Portland’s premier granite slab fabrication company.  It has also helped us maintain the highest rating on Angie’s List for two consecutive years!

Today, we have a much larger, state of the art production facility, located in Tualatin, Oregon.   But more importantly, we have an approach to doing business that is truly unique and we have the  finest team of professionals in the industry.
